Here is a hot picture of Ruth and her daughter Elsa and Row and her son Cole. For those of you who wanted to see what Rob's niece and nephew looked like.

DMV Love

Rob got to stand in line at the NYC DMV today.
Bad news it took 4 hours to get a licence AND Rob has to go back to register his vehicle.
Good news, Rob met a nice lady named Sarah who lived in Oregon and who has a Oregonian husband who appreciates grilling & SUDUKO and we are going to meet up for dinner with our SO's (significant others)/Users/paigetravis/Desktop/1060782036_0123.gif

Avenue Q

After we helped a fellow Lewis and Clark Alum (Miss Jemiliah) move in to her new Apartment, we booked it to Times Square to check out Paige's Wedding Anniversery gift to Mr. Rob, Tickets to "avenue Q". The best Musical Rob has ever seen, besides anything my sister Ruth performed in.

The Musical is the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q; still, the neighbors seem nice. There's Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fianceƩ Christmas Eve; Nicky the good-hearted slacker and his roommate Rod -- a Republican investment banker who seems to have some sort of secret; an Internet addict called Trekkie Monster; and a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant named Kate. And would you believe the building's superintendent is Gary Coleman?!? (Yes, that Gary Coleman.) Together, Princeton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life. And oh yes, half the cast is human and half is muppet.

Katie and Todd Come to Visit

Katie and Todd flew in from North Carolina to visit us and go to a wedding.
After helping us carry home a new kitchen table, we took the sub to the Brooklyn Bridge, walked over it and then went on a brisk 5 mile walk of lower Manhattan, which lead to a nice Italian restaurant in the East Village

Rob is a Employed Man

Rob offically got hired today
I will be running a Centers for Disease control Intervention called Safety Counts for Injection Drug Users at a organization called Positive health Project.
Here is a BIO of the organization...
...Positive Health Project (PHP) was founded in 1993 to address the alarming impact of the AIDS epidemic on injection drug users in New York City, particularly among disenfranchised populations such as sex workers, transgendered individuals, homeless persons, and individuals recently released from incarceration. The agency’s primary mission always has been to reduce the spread of HIV infection among drug users by reducing risk behaviors, minimizing the harm associated with drug use, and breaking down barriers to HIV prevention, health care, and other critical services. The agency opened as a small drop-in center in the Manhattan neighborhood of Chelsea offering support groups, outreach, and counseling for drug users seeking respite from the streets. Within a year, PHP was offering a full range of harm reduction services, including syringe exchange and numerous supportive services. Since then, the agency has steadily expanded its range of services, establishing an international reputation for its nonjudgmental service delivery model, high-quality harm reduction programs, and mission-driven services that focus on its clients’ need for trust, confidentiality, and respect.

Goodbye Forever Gus (le automobile of Paige)

After eight years of traversing Paige across the country and back and all around in between it was time to bid adieu to ole' reliable, Gus. His demise? A freakish summer hailstorm. He was declared a total loss, cosmetically that is; realisitically, he could have gone another 100,000.

New York or Bust
